At Hope House we value being:
GENEROUS
Hope House Church values those who serve willingly and generously. Selfless servanthood and humility are hallmarks of our culture. Serving is our highest calling.
HONOURING
Hope House Church values a people orientated culture, where an encouraging environment leads to always speaking well of others. Our voice does not carry judgment or dishonouring even in conflict. Instead, we seek opportunities to appreciate and honour people.
PASSIONATE
Hope House Church values a vibrant outward looking culture where invitation and influence ensure that individual people value others and know that they are valued.
UNITED
Hope House Church values those who carry the character of Jesus. We strive to be people of integrity who joyfully love the family tribe at Hope House. Our most important attribute is love and our primary commitment and expression is for Hope House Church.
EMPOWERING
Hope House Church values teachable people; not just those who attend, but those who wish to learn and be discipled and apprenticed. We are passionately committed to learning and growing in our values and identity, so that we can lay a foundation for others to build on and extend into the future
CREATIVE
Hope House Church values a positive, can-do, team orientated attitude. Creative solutions characterise our ethos and express our commitment to carry the gospel in all situations. We are confident in our calling, finding new ways to release the vision we carry.
You can use this prayer to connect to Jesus right now and then call us to help you discover more.
Lord Jesus, I know I have done things wrong in my thoughts, words and actions. There are so many good things I have not done. There are so many wrong things I have done. I am sorry for those wrong things and turn from everything I know to be bad. You gave your life for me on a cross. Gratefully I give my life back to you. Now I ask you to come into my life. Come in as my Saviour to clean me. Come in as my Lord to lead me. I will serve you all the remaining days of my life.
Amen
Paul Bedford leads Hope House Church along with a great team of passionate and gifted core leaders: Paul and Sue Dunning, Colin and Carliss Hayes, and Neil and Jo Huddleston. They are supported by the Development and Strategy Team, and the primary pastoral team of Connect Group Leaders. We’re part of the Ground Level Network of Churches lead by Stuart and Irene Bell. The Ground Level Network exists to support and care for local churches and ministries. We are also seeking to have a growing influence for good in the nation, affecting society in any way that we can, to be prophetic, to model Word and Spirit, relationship and kingdom. The Ground Level Network is an apostolic movement networked together through regional and relational connections.

Statement of Belief
- We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.
- We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.
- We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.
- We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to life in victory over death and sin.
- We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.
- We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use His spiritual gifts.
- We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for fellowship, prayer and the ‘breaking of bread’.
- We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfil our role in the Church family and serve the community in which we live and worship.
- We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.
- We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
